Browsing needs no account. Saved homes stay in your own browser.

Host accounts are handled by Clerk, which stores your email and encrypted password. The contact details you put in a listing are public, because that is their purpose.

When someone taps a contact button we count it once per listing and day. To do that we keep a one-way hash of the visitor's network address for up to two days, never the address itself. Messages go straight to the host's app or inbox.
